A comprehensive parent handbook will be provided upon enrollment, outlining all center policies and procedures in detail. This handbook covers every aspect of our operations, ensuring families have a clear understanding of how the center is managed and how their child will be cared for while in our program
Health & Safety
A comprehensive physical examination is required within six months prior to or 90 days after the child’s start date.
In accordance with state regulations, ill children cannot be admitted to prevent the spread of illness. Children must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning to care.
All classrooms and equipment are regularly sanitized to ensure a clean and healthy environment. Eating surfaces are disinfected before and after each use.
Any soiled clothing will be placed in a sealed bag and sent home.
In the event of illness, parents will be promptly notified and are required to arrange for their child to be picked up from the center within one hour of notification.
Behavior Guidance
We support positive development through gentle guidance and age-appropriate limits.
Exploration and independence are encouraged, while boundaries are set to ensure safety and respect for others.
Biting is recognized as a developmental phase in some children and will be addressed promptly and appropriately.
If a child experiences difficulty adjusting, a mutual decision may be made by the staff and parents to determine the best course of care.
Toilet Training
Children between 18 and 24 months are encouraged to begin toilet training when developmentally appropriate.
Staff will collaborate with families to support each child’s unique needs and readiness.
Authorized Pick-Up
Children will only be released to individuals authorized by the parent or guardian.
Written authorization or a direct phone call is required to allow pick-up by an unauthorized person.
